2025 Oulart – The Balllagh Club Person of the Year
The Enniscorthy District G.A.A. Club Person of the Year awards took place on Friday 28th of February in Riverside Park Hotel. This year’s recipient was Martin “Sport” Dempsey. Martin was been involved with the club his whole life as a player, coach, selector/manager, chairman and also continues on the executive committee. Martin has been hugely influential in the development of the club while been involved with the pitches maintenance and grounds work. Martin has just completed a 3 year term as Club Chairman, a role which he carried with great pride. Martin leads by example, never expecting anyone to do what he wouldn’t do himself and he has a great ability to inspire others to work with him for the betterment of the club or local community.
